Common mistakes when buying a doll - Part 1

Weight

One of the most common mistakes that people do, when they buy their first sex doll, is to buy the biggest doll they can find. They want a full size doll, which is perfectly understandable – but you have to consider the weight issue. When it says 45 KG, you will think to yourself that it’s not that much, since you can lift a human that weighs 75 KG without any problems. The thing about sex dolls is that they are “dead weight”. This is a real thing.

When you are lifting a human being, they will help you with their body to smooth things along. A doll will not help you smooth things along at all. They are stiff and will just lie there, as you try your best to get a good grip without hurting your back. I can easily lift a human that weighs 75 KG / 165 pounds, but I would probably not be able to lift a doll that weighs 45 KG / 100 pounds. My heaviest doll weighs 35.5 KG / 78 pounds, that is my limit. Any heavier than that and I wouldn’t be able to handle her. My first doll weighs only 23.5 KG / 51 pounds. When she first arrived, I had a hard time lifting and carrying her around. It takes time to find the right technique.

I would recommend that you take weight into consideration when you are choosing a doll. So many people buy a heavy doll to begin with, only to realize that they can’t handle the weight – so they sell the doll and get discouraged from ever buying another one again. I can understand that people don’t want to buy a “practice doll” as their first doll, if they are low on money. But you will make mistakes with your first doll, there’s just no way around that. In any way, I would never recommend anyone to buy a doll that weighs anywhere over 40 KG / 88 pounds as their first doll, because you can really hurt your back – and your doll, while you are figuring out the best way to carry her.

One idea is to buy a smaller doll as your first one, so that you can learn to handle it without taking on too much at once. When you feel that you can handle that one with ease, you move up to a bigger doll. Of course, not everyone is interested in buying more than one doll. However, if you do this, you can sell your first doll and get some of your money back, before you buy the full sized one that weighs more. There actually is a market for used dolls. As long as you don’t ship it overseas, the shipping costs should not be too expensive.

If you are completely against the idea of ever buying more than one doll, you can always try to lift something else that is dead weight. For example, a large sack of potatoes or something that weighs a lot – try to lift that and carry it around with you. You will get the taste of dead weight. The thing about dolls though, is that they have their weight distributed over their entire body – it’s not confined to one big lump, as a sack of potatoes would be.
